There are thousands of State Parks in the United States and we can’t explore all of them. However, we will visit as many as we can and the ones labeled “must visit”. Of course, we are not leaving you behind. We will take many photos so you can look and learn about them. So whenever you’re in the area, you won’t miss these outdoor opportunities.

Things to do:
We went there last year to explore the park and see what it has to offer. Before reaching the park entrance, there is an area where you can park your car and see the magnificent overlooking view. We hiked several trails and checked the Old CCC Stone Fire Tower. It is such a great place to visit with a lot of things to do. We really had a good time and plan to go back for camping or backpacking this year. The trails are well- marked and maintained. We would definitely include it on our go-to state parks.
Visit the Georgia State Park site for more info and reservation here.
